Mikaela Geraghty

My name is Mikaela Geraghty, and I am a sophomore double majoring in neurobiology and human development and family studies on the pre-health track. I am excited to be a part of the Hartley lab! I am specifically interested in exploring the impact of modifiable lifestyle factors, such as body mass index and sleep quality, on the development of dementia in adults with Down syndrome.  In my free time, I enjoy going for walks on the lakeshore path, hot yoga, reading, and going to the Madison farmer’s market.
