The Hartley Lab is currently conducting a research study about how the family system impacts children. The goal of this project is to understand the ways in which the family system – parent well-being and daily experiences, parenting behaviors, and parents’ marital relationship – are linked to child behaviors and functioning at a global and daily level. In total, we expect about 325 couples from Wisconsin to participate in the study. We ultimately hope that the information from this study will help improve services and supports for families in the future.
We are recruiting married couples with children to participate in our research study. To participate in this study you and your spouse must be a married parent of a child aged 5 to 12 years. Both spouses must be the biological or adoptive parent of the child and you must be age 21 years or older.
